reset clan è giunta l'ora review

Review: Reset Clan – E’ Giunta L’Ora

“More than a simple sensation”

“Drum’s beat like tachycardia, guitar’s riffs combined with pure madness thoughts, thrills on my skin are sparks of life”: this is the latest Reset Clan album in their own words (from ‘A different sound / Una nota diversa’). Seriously, it’s not needed to add more. I was really curious to listen to Reset’s new creation, as soon as the record was in my hands I wore my headphones and I pushed play.

‘Per un bene interiore / For an internal good’ starts. TupaTupa. Thrills. From the beginning to the end.

Reset Clan maintained their style, without resulting repetitive they created a new great album, in a truly old school style. Each track is full of energy, each of them with its own feature, the riffs are never boring and sometimes some bass interludes appear, which personally I really loved (like in ‘Lieto fine / Happy Ending’). The screams are clear and precise, with the right dose of rage.

‘E’ giunta l’ora’ never misses a hit. From the beginning to the end the album maintains the rhythm and it’s never disappointing. This is valid also for the lyrics, all of them are quite deep, reflective and never superficial or trivial. The topics are various, but as I said always introspective, from the critique to society to the critique to ourselves, moving around the question: ‘are we victims of the system or of ourselves?’ (from ‘Vittime o Carnefici / Victim or Executioner’), this question is more or less the guideline of the whole album.

The cover artwork is really nice, the booklet inside has a collage of posters of old concerts of the band, these guys have come a long way and we can definitely hear it! Congrats.

Well, actually there’s really not much to say: ‘E’ giunta l’ora’ is a really good album of good old school hardcore, to listen to again and again.

We remind you that RadioPunk was among the co-producers of the album, so if you want to support the band and to have a physical copy of the record, you just need to ask! Don’t miss it!
