Popes of Chillitown – Work Hard, Play Hard, See You In The Graveyard – Review

The six ska punk guys from London are back with a new album which is expected to make us dance and sing as the previous one. Well, well, let’s see…
The last release of The Popes Of Chillitown is “Work Hard, Play Hard, See You In The Graveyard”, 13 songs that perfectly show the band sound: ska/dub for dance and the fastness of punk.
Among the best songs of the album, there are “Get Off / Get On”, “Upside Down”, “Mr. Piotr” and “Culpa”, the song that ends the album, and all of them are songs that will let you move your feet!
Anyway, the album is not stroking as the previous one, “To The Moon”, and I was expecting more from one of the most loved ska punk bands in London.
Of course, the Popes will surprise us on a live show, thanks to their energy and their party mood!
