About
Who we are and what we do
Are we a radio station?
No, but… take a moment to read and find out who we are.
What is Radio Punk and what can you find on the website?
- 📰 Webzine: we write and publish original articles about punk and DIY, including interviews, music recommendations, and in-depth features.
- 💿 Independent Label: we produce and co-produce punk, oi!, hardcore, and crust punk records.
- 📦 Distro and Online Shop: we sell vinyl records, CDs, and pins, and we often set up our booth at gigs around the place.
- 🔘 Pin Makers: we make custom pins (2.5 cm diameter) for bands, labels, collectives, and various projects.
- 📅 Gig Calendar: we have a section dedicated to listing punk and DIY events across Italy.
For us, punk is not just music ✊
We are not here to debate complex ideological systems, but we are absolutely sure of who we are.
There is no room here for fascism, racism, sexism, and lgbtqia+phobia; instead, we support those who fight and dream of a free society with neither servants nor masters.
We are a self-managed project that embraces horizontal methods without hierarchies. We feel much more at home in squats, social centers, and provincial anti-fascist clubs rather than at glossy mega-festivals with big names but zero ideas.
