Bravata New Album

Review: Bravata – Lead The Sin

Bravata introduce themselves with a mix of punk rock and alternative

Bravata is a band from Salento that has just released, on White Zoo Records, its 7” called “Lead The Sin”, with just one song on each side. This triplet form Lecce and surroundings had the chance to work in studio with Danilo Silvestri, producer of bands like Giuda, whereas the recording took place at Sudeststudio of Stefano Manca in Guagnano (Lecce). The simple but fantastic artwork by Paolo Guido is to note, it’s very ‘90s and stylish!

The first song “Lead The Sin” is a mix of  punk rock and alternative rock, it’s very catchy and well looked-after, composed of easy but non-common riffs. In the track “Rude” we can notice even more the excellent technique and the good ideas of Bravata: this is a catchy, brilliant and very original song, decisively calmer than the previous one but equally dynamic.

As you can guess, Bravata published a solid record with a hell of good ideas and in which sounds and details are well-finished and refined. In a difficult land like Salento where this kind of music and counterculture struggle to emerge, this band proved that you can do wonderful things if you have great passion. Go on like this!
