FDP Album

Review: FDP – Non Torneranno i prati

Here’s the new album by FDP

I waited for this album with a lot of curiosity. ‘Non Torneranno i Prati’ is FDP’s new album came out on October 2018 under Teste Ribelli Records. A mix of energy and real good music played by genuine and sincere boys that brings you back to 90’s and first years of 2000’s. It has been years since i listened to an italian punk rock album like this. In their 15-years career the boys really grew up, they created a clean and specific sound, that passes through catchy choruses with nice choirs, songs to sing from the rooftops and powerful solos worthy of the best american punk rock bands.

Mature lyrics full of personal reflection, lived life moments and actuality are the common thread of the ten songs that press nonstop, in a neatly hectic rythm. In addition to ‘Non Torneranno i prati’, the titletrack   released as first track with the a videoclip, I really appreciate ‘Paese Morto’ a song that talks about the actual italian situation, and ‘Attimo’ charging track, a bit of a love song, really nice.

The album closes up with ‘Attitudine’ that brings me to Nofx’s ‘Kill All The White Man’ thanks to the slow part with trumpet, the track is dedicated to the actual band, empty in substances, that lost Punk’s nature and history.

I have to add that I really appreciate those band that sing in their mother language and in this case in italian.

Go to listen FDP, they are indeed worthy… you’ll put the cd on your car and you won’t take it of anymore.
