New single for Bad Religion
Bad Religion release “Do The Paranoid Style”
Californian punk legends Bad Religion reveal a new track from their long-awaited album “Age of Unreason”, which will be available on May 3rd.
The new single is entitled “Do the Paranoid Style” and comes with a music video with dance sequences and vintage political propaganda scenes. The song is ironic, in the typical style of the band, on conspiracy theories, also highlighting the danger when they are leveraged by the power.
“When fringe groups blame shadowy forces for their problems it is, at worst, delusional,” guitarist Brett Gurewitz explains in a statement. “But when those holding the levers of power do the same thing, it’s not delusion, it’s a method of delegitimizing the opposition. It’s a tool of authoritarianism.”
Very topical, especially in our country.
