Blink 182 – Dogs Eating Dogs EP – Review

Blink-182 from San Diego,California release on december 2012 their new 5-track EP called “Dogs Eating Dogs”,which is available only in digital format.
I have to make a preliminary statement: if you didn’t like Neighborhoods (you can find our review on our page) probably you won’t like this EP because this is the perfect continuation of Neighborhoods.
Songs are very interesting and they have blink influences mixed with the sound of their others bands (angels and airwaves, +44).Pretty Little Girl (last track of the EP) is a nice pop-punk song but it contains a rap part sang by “Yelawolf” that ruinst in part this track.
The tracks’ order is not good but at the end this EP which lasts 19 minutes is very enjoyable. Travis Barker is amazing as ever, but we all know that he’s a drums master! Guitars are great and the bass has the same awesome blink sound. The alternation of the vocal lines is to revise and Mark voice is better than his singing in Neighborhoods. Synthetizers and other effects aren’t exaggerated and fill the music.
So…yes, maybe it’s not the good old stuff but i suggest to give a listen to this!
