As every two months, here we are with news from the previous two months. There is a lot of new punk news for May and June 2022 and we can’t wait to present it to you! Concerts are back and in fact many bands are focused more on live activity than studio, but nevertheless there is a lot of new stuff!
We write this kind of article looking around and writing down what’s new; via your private messages and e-mails; via the post we write one week before publishing our meganews where we ask you about new releases. So follow us and let us know about your band’s new release or news from your collective, distro, ‘zine, project, etc!

Punk is an attitude for us, if it was only music we would’t have opened, so not merely musically punk topics are welcome – this is why you can also add Antifa, against repression demonstrations, etc. – if they share the attitude. Militant hip hop, ska, blues, and songwriting are welcome provided that they share with punk spaces and values that are its basis.
IMPORTANT! Listening and discovering new stuff is cool, but if you can buy the physical copy to support bands and labels and if you have the opportunity to donate, every little help is actually a big help.

IRA / Destinazione Finale: the two hardcore bands released, for the moment only on digital, a 7-track split album, four by Destinazione Finale from Florence and three by Ira from Tuscia. A good old school hardcore punk split album! The two bands are looking for co-producers for the physical format!
Meat For Dogs/ Across: the split between the two bands from Calabria has been released, sealing a friendship of more than a decade. The split is released on 12″ vinyl and digitally by Overdrive Records; you can order it here. The cover art is by Lucio Parrillo, a Catanzaro-based artist and comic book artist of international renown thanks to his collaborations with Marvel and DC comics. Lucio had previously done covers for Meat For Dogs! Regarding the split, we quote the release: “Four tracks, two per band, including one unreleased and one cover from the other band – somewhat in the style of BYO Records’ renowned Split Series – will fill the two sides of a 12″ colored vinyl limited edition of 300 copies with poster and digital download included.” We leave you to listen to Brucia, a song by Meat For Dogs:
Antisexy: the new 7″ titled “Nessuna carne si salverà” was released thanks to the co-production of Here And Now Records, Italian Extreme Underground, SFA Records, ZAS Autoproduzioni Records, Punti Scena Records, SHOVE records.
Darcy: new video by the band from Brittany! The song is “Notre Hymne”, featuring Merzhin, another Breton band. You can listen to the full album “Machines de Guerre” here, and watch the video below!
Viagra Boys: two videos by the Swedish band are out. You can watch “Ain’t No Thief” below, while clicking here you can enjoy “Punk rock loser”.
Red London: the label Mad Butcher released the new album “Cut From A Different Cloth” by the historical band from Sundeland, UK. Watch the video for the title-track!
Ultra Sect: the new album by the American oi! band is out. It is available on vinyl or cd thanks to Contra Records, LSM, Turn Up The Oi!
Grandine: the reissue on vinyl of the historical hardcore band’s discography is out. Our copies are sold out, if you want one contact Assurd Records, Annoying, Here and Now.
The Manges: the new punk rock hit by the legendary Manges from Las Pezia is out!
Plakkaggio: the Plakkaggio collective made this video for the song Valhalla, off the album Verso La Vetta, released via Hellnation and Time To Kill on vinyl and CD. If you want a copy we still have some in our distro.
Bislers: the first video by the hardcore band from Ferrara is out! You can understand from the video what the song is about. 1312
Cuir: the new ep by the French synthpunk band is out. Listen to the three tracks of “EP”:
Rebels Actions: we mentioned the band in our special about skinhead scene in Sardinia. Well, after 11 years you can listen to “Always Together” below on Spotify!
Stygmate: new single by the French band, off the upcoming album “Vivant”. Listen to “J’m’en Fous”:
Respiro Nocivo: on May 20, thanks to Duff Records, the new album by the punk band from Vicenza was released. “Cor Meum, Anima Mea” is available, for the moment, only on digital. Physical format coming soon. Enjoy!
Waste Cult: new band from Bologna with well-known faces! Listen to “Dodge”, off their upcoming first album.
Thee Linquents: new band from Genoa and first demo tape! You can purchase the tape from Flamingo or Lanterna Pirata!
Klasizida: “Historia de un Yuppie” is the new song by the Spanish working class punk rock band!
Pulley: the melodic punk rock band is back with the new album “The Golden Life”, released on vinyl and CD thanks to SBÄM Records. Listen to it below:
The Flatliners: “New Ruin”, the new album by the Canadian punk rock band, will be released in August via Fat Wreck. Listen to “Performative Hours”, and watch the video!
The Unborn: “Visitatori”, a two-track single, was released on digital. It’s inspired by the 1983 tv series “V-Visitors”. A physical edition with some bonus tracks is coming, so keep an eye on Crombie Media website.
Diario di Bordo: in our previous meganews we talked about “Al di Là del Buio”, album released on LP+CD via Rumagna Sgroza, Fire and Flames, Rusty Knife and Discos Machete. The video for “Antisocial”, directed by Dagon Studio, is out, enjoy!
I.M.I.V.: the new single, titled “Occhi Chiusi”, is out:
Mellifrugo: the new EP titled “[IN]^3” by this DIY singer/songwriter is out. You can listen to it here:
Villa Fantôme: Former members of the band La Ruda Salska created this new project, that recently released a self-titled album. “Noir” ambience in the video for “Sentimentale n’est pas la foule”, a single off the album. Enjoy:
Nabat / Klasse Kriminale: the 7″ split album between the two historical oi! bands is going to be released via Ammonia Records and Tufo Rock Records. On A side KK play a song by Nabat and vice-versa, on B side the two bands play together a tribute to Slade. It will also be available in our catalog!
Charger: “Warhorse” is out, an album by the supergroup with Andrew McGee, Matt Freeman (Rancid, Operation Ivy) and Jason Willer (UK Subs, Jello Biafra’s Guantanamo School of Medicine).
The Drowns: in our previous meganews we talked about the video for “Live Like Yer Dyin”, now the second single off the EP “Lunatics” is out. The song is about homeless people in Seattle and in the USA.
Amesua: “Punto”, the new 7-track album by the band from Sardinia is out.
Coke Asian: here is a band from Paris mixing punk rock, blues, hardcore. Listen to “Kegel Excess”:
Bishops Green: the new work by the Canadian band, “Black Skies”, was released on vinyl via Pirates Press. Enjoy:
For Different Ways: the video for “Backbone” feat. Alex Blasi from Strength Approach is out. The song appears in the new EP by the band from Sardinia, titled “Awareness”.
Zombies NO: new video by the melodic hc band. The song “War Lullaby”, off the upcoming album “The Big Reset”, is about the sad reality of child soldiers.
Lumpen: the new album by the band from Cosenza was released via Kob Records. 11 tracks on CD including a ft. with Jenny Woo. The album is titled “We Will Stand Together”! Watch the video for “Til The End”, the opening track:
Omni of Halos: The ep “Care Free” by the Swedish alternative rock / punk band is out via Lovely Records. Enjoy:
Krav Boca: the new album by Krav Boca, “Pirate Party”, is out on digital and CD. The vinyl, co-produced by us, is coming, stay tuned and if you like preorder it! Watch the videos for “Pirate Party” and “ACAB”, off the album:
Irreal: “Era Electrónica” is the new album by the hardcore punk band, released via La Vida Es Un Mus. 8 tracks on anarchic subjects sung in Catalan and Spanish.
Omnigone / Protagonist: Omnigone, ska punk band from Bay Area and Protagonist, punk from Florida, released this 4-track split album produced by Disconnect Disconnect (UK) and 3 US labels: Sell The Heart Records, No-Time Records & Lavasocks Records. The split album is available on 7″ vinyl.
The Fomites: the album by the band from Vancouver titled “The Secret Of The Booze” is out. It is available on vinyl via Kinda Cool Records. Watch the video for two singles off the album.
Freedumb: the ep by the Norwegian punk rock band is out. Enjoy:
Hella Rebellion: new song by the Norwegian band playing an explosive mix of punk and rock, influenced by Turbonegro.
Mortaio: new hardcore punk band with members of Culto del Cargo, IGioia, Attrito, Gufonero and more. Part of the proceeds are benefit for Juan, a friend of the band! The album is out on CD digifile in coproduction also with us. If you want a copy, the price is 5€, contact us. Listen to it here:

Ratos de Porao: the legendary band from Brazil is back with a new 10-track album titled “Necropolitica”. Enjoy listening!
Brut Oss: stoner rock band with punk rock influences from Piacenza. They released a self-titled album via Orzorock Music.
Ohyda: the third album by the band from Poland is out. It is available on vinyl via La Vida Es Un Mus.
Mock Execution: “Killed” is the debut album by the hardcore punk band from Chicago, influenced by Finnish and Japanese hardcore mixed with British crust! Available on vinyl thanks to La Vida Es Un Mus.

We Hungry: first ep by this French hardcore band influenced by Positive Mental Attitude!
Alldways: the band from Turin released “I tuoi abbracci segnano la pelle“, on CD and digital via Scatti Vorticosi Records. They also made a video for the song “Parassiti del Benessere”. Listen to the album here:
Cycotic Youth: new video by the hardcore band from Venice Beach, California. We talked about them in our previous meganews!
Coax: new song by the band from St. Petersburg. This song was written by the singer Alena and is about current events in Russia and our society’s reaction to the catastrophe in Ukraine and Belarus. Proceeds will support Ukrainian refugees.
Überyou: the melodic punk rock band from Zurich released the video for “Road To Philly” off the upcoming album “Silver Lining” via Gunner Records & Say10 Records.
Safety Gear: the first single by this new band from Canada is out. The song anticipates their debut album that will be released via High and Denim Records.
Cibo: volume 2 of the “Muzik” saga is out. In the band’s words: “The approach is still ironical, but these tracks are more introspective and emotional”.
FFD: the new album “Revolutionary Boy” was released on July 2, the birthday of Mono, the historical singer of the band who recently passed away. The album is available on CD via Kob Records. Listen to the title-track:
The Reason Why: the debut album by this French band with members of Hardxtimes, P.M.S, 86 Crew, Angry Vets, Lions Law, Survet Skins, Lush Rush, Value Driven, Outreau… is going to be released via Contra Records. Stay tuned!
The Ammonoids: the new EP by the punk rock band from Rome was released in co-production with Monster Zero Records, Dinomite Records, Born Strong Distro, Mastice Produzioni, Ostia Records and Loops Studio. Listen to the single “Claire”.
Carne: new album by the band from Taranto with members of Hobophobic, Suddisorder, Frantic and more. “Saremo Ancora Minaccia” was released on digipack CD via Poison Hearts and Oltraggio Produzioni with the support of Porrozine (artwork), Dartworks (drawings and cover), DischiRozzi, Distruggi La Bassa, Bari HC, Rumagna Sgroza, Equal Rights, Mastice Produzioni, True Believers, Terapia Intensiva.
Stramorten: the Italian punk rock band is back with a new video!
No Control: the new EP by the punk rock band from Milan is out. It’s titled “Running For”:
Bag Of Snacks: “Love Songs For Work Haters”, the new work by the band from Alessandria, is coming after the 12″ vinyl of “Paper Girls”, with one silk-screened side, that we have in our catalog for only 10 euros. Stay tuned for further news about the new album!

Tropikaos Chaga: the new single by the punk rock band from Porto Alegre, Brazil, is out. The single, in addition to bringing influences from Reggae and national rap, also criticizes the influence of big business in Brazilian politics and the patriotism discourse of the extreme right, allied to this elite.
Claimed Choice: the mini-LP by the oi!/bovver glam band from Lyon, France, was released via Une Vie Pour Rien It’s titled “We Won’t Give In” and you can listen to it below:
