Review: Collapse – Senza Futuro

Directly from Alex Rossi’s (Carlos Dunga, Iena, xDeLoreanx, Dragnet) Hull Valley Studio in Prato, comes up the extended play, today’s review topic. I’ll talk about “Senza Futuro”, 3 tracks EP by Florentine Collapse. The album presents itself as an interesting mix between old school trash metal and local hardcore punk. The first track “Senza Futuro” about 5 minutes in lenght, which makes us understand what Collapse are made of, in fact besides the great guitar riffs, technical and varied, bass and drums perfectly hold the upclose rythmics. It then follows with the second track, “Folsom Prison Blues”, metal punk cover version of the famous song by Jhonny cash. The album closes with “Pioggia”, a great track where besides good ideas we can feel even more the band’s punk attitude.
Greag artwork, in perfect trash metal style; the sang and lyrics totally passed, even if, little critic, it could have used some more choirs. I close this brief review complimentig the Collapse for this album, “Senza Futuro”, which made me feel the need to know more about them and hear more of their songs.

Album marks: 7.5
