Review: I hate people – New World Order

Debut Ep by I Hate People from Australia

When I read the text by Craig, drummer of the I Hate People, I was impressed by their caption: we make music for people that hate people! Well, after that I had to press play and listen to this debut album, New World Order.
I Hate People are an Australian trio which just released their first EP, made of punk rock and, in my opinion, a recall to the Motorhead style, plus a scratchy voice which perfectly matches with the music.
As you can imagine reading the title, the three Aussie punk rockers criticize our system and our society, in fact, the first song of the EP is called ‘Egocritical’. The best songs of this EP, according to me, are ‘God is Dead’ and ‘Gay Bar’, because they are fucking great fast songs that make you dance and bang your head!
So, basically this is a fast and good punk rock, which speaks a universal language and that’ll always be a pleasure to hear. I wait more song by I Hate People, and well, maybe one day I will see them live.
