Review: Lastbreath – Thousand Traitors

Lastbreath newest Record!

They are playing a crazy hardcore from Cagliari, they are called Lastbreath and they just dropped their first record named “Thousand Traitors”, appealing to those who love bands such as First Blood and All Out War, spacing from heavy sounding riffs to huge sing-a-longs about fraternity, respect, loyalty and friendship. The album contains nine tracks, including a rap skit, a really fast track dedicated to the hardcore scene in Cagliari and a lot of features just to prove how good it feels to shout together about said themes! Between a violent breakdown and a two-step beat, the recurring themes in this record are respect, hatred for the self-centred social climbers (the “Thousand Traitors”, as the title suggests) but also finding the strength and the courage to keep on living through the hard times that a place, such as the one Lastbreath come from and many other similar ones, can put you through.

If you like straight to your face, genuine hardcore than I suggest you listen to this record, maybe when you need help lifting weights and punching heavy bags!

ALBUM RATING: 8/10
