Review: Tigers In Furs – s/t

Tigers in Furs present their debut ep

From the worst – or better, depending on the point of view – bars in Rome come to my ears the Tigers In Furs with their self titled and totally DIY 7”, as punk rock claims!
The band is active since 2015, when three big beer drinkers from the roman underground – as their bio says – decide to start making some covers. After a while, however, the trio decides to throw on their own pieces with the intention of annoying anyone who comes within their grasp. As a presentation that the band makes of itself is not bad, so I swoop to listen to these three tracks and immediately I get impressed by their simplicity and the old school sound. In fact, the trio seems to come from the same years as Stooges, Damned, MC5: punk rock / rock n roll with strong garage influences. A joy for me! The three tracks run away smoothly like oil, so much so that, when finished, I restart the record immediately.
An example of how even simple things, if well done, can be really pleasant. C’mon!
