Tagliamidettagli – Nel Segreto – Review
Sorry for the delay with the review of “Nel Segreto” new EP from the palermitan band “Tagliamidettagli”. Some history to begin with: we’re talking about a band who has been together since 1993 with a demo under their belt, released in April of the same year and named “I Rospi Danzanti”. The band is now back with this new EP after many ups and downs and several changes in the lineup. Talking about the album, i’m struck by the impressive artwork of the cover and by the way it sounds. You can tell from the very first of the five tracks that the band is going to crank up some Italian old-school hardcore mixed with a good amount of punk rock. That must be why the first band they made me think of is Kina. The 5 tracks are overall pretty much pleasant and good sounding but -from time to time- I feel something is missing for the band to really raise the bar. So, in conclusion, go listen to it and you’ll blast in the past with this nice album released a few months ago.
ALBUM RATING: 7/10
