The Casualties – Resistance – Review
Today’s review arrives with great delay, maybe too much delay because this album was released in 2012. However, better late than never. So, let’s start the album review of “Resistance”, ninth studio album by The Casualties.
“Resistance” is the first album by The Casualties under the Death/Black Metal French label “Season of Mist”. For those who don’t know the Casualties, they play an HC/Street Punk characterized by violent drums and bass lines, simple and incisive guitar riffs, screamed and angry vocals and lots of choirs. The lyrics talk about society issues and the government. There’s also a track “Corazones Intoxicados” sung in Spanish, the mother tongue of Jorge Herrera (singer).
Finding the best songs is like looking for a needle in a haystack because all the songs are awesome. In fact the album is fantastic, it has a great impact and it’s without any doubt one of their best albums. Strictly recommended!
